One of Feli’s favorite and we are sure will be one of yours soon.

Warm gooey chocolate baked inside a tasty puff pastry. Ready in minutes, always a crowd pleaser and lends itself nicely to personal touches.


Back to Recipes 1 pack of Feli's Puff Dough (480grms) 1 pack of your favorite chocolate bar (semi-sweet or milk) - 125grms 1 egg Powdered sugar Parchment/baking paper

Step 1 – Preheat you over to 200 °C or 390 °F

Step 2 -Place the frozen dough on a baking tray lined with the parchment paper. Leave it to defrost.

Step 3 – Once ready lay out the frozen dough on the parchment paper and place the whole chocolate in the middle.

Step 4 – Cut out thick strips of the dough diagonally at either side of the chocolate bar (along the longer side of the bar). Make sure you have the same amount of cuts on both sides of the chocolate bar.

Step 4 – Fold the dough at the shorter ends first over the chocolate then begin to cross the sides, creating a braid over the chocolate.

Step 5 – Brush the braid with an egg wash which you can make by beating the egg and adding a splash of cool water and bake until golden brown.

Step 6 – Remove from the oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve and enjoy!


You can also try it with banana and chocolate, following the same instructions or top it up with shaved almonds (add these just before the pastry becomes golden brown then continue to bake).
